Is Atlanta a yuppie town?

I mean all the night clubs here are trendy to the hill even in the ones in lower-middle cl neighborhoods. If you are into heavy metal or alternative rock there is litterly no where to hang out with the exception of the Masquerade even though its mostly an 18-27 yr old crowd. What is a laid back, college education, don't give a damn about trendiness, into subculture, 25 yr. old to do?
