What is your opinion on this problem of jack? how would you regard him now?

I have a friend I have taken to understand, he used to attaend church and always had issues, since he was 10 he has always thought he was a paedophile because he has bad memories of his father playing around with him as they used to sleep in the same bed, being such a young age he thought this was bad and never told anyone as he thought he'd get in trouble, as the years went on he'd knew if he said anything no one would believe him, he tried to forget, but religion got in the way, he has been manic for years thinking government forces were after him uming the television he watched refelected what went on in the world, he constantly felt god was telling him to get himself in trouble, together with his mania he thought goevrnment forces were aware that he was getting himself in toruble as a means to justice, however as he grew and realise his own problems in the onset of the real world, he felt he ought to incriminate himself as to be accountable, he tried doing this mistakening normal teen as paedophilia and umed always the governemnt would arrest him, he got manic and suffered extreame anxiaty, as he grew older to his early twenties he felt he had to emulate what he read in the news to incriminate himself so as to be accountable and begin afresh at this point god was still afactor, as he got older and realised the horror of what he did he (trying to incriminate himself with internet and displaying erratic behaviours so as to get noticed by these supposed government and alian forces), he eventually turned himself into the police with a statement he felt was honestly making himself accountable, he has since been convicted of holding 13 indecent images of chilkdren ranginf from 12 to 14 years of age, this has helped his mania to some degree about his child hood and help him remeber alot but he faces people disbelieving his past and hating him for it, I know for a fact as I grew up with him, he is not remotely attracted nor does he seek underage chikdren, he has never hurt anyone and in not in the context of what is considered dangerous (as in children kidnapped to prroduce films) rather he gathered the images from normal sites where the images were just based on an opinion of age as in air brushed pictures. he is better now, stronger and the only time he has felt normal in his life in now, but is now hindered by his past, in the last three years he has sought to build his intelligence of the world and his surroundings and is different now than he used to be, he is not the typical paedophile type you read about and has never envisiged it as such nor is he phychologically like them as his research has shown. How woould you regard my friend now?
