How to patch me and my mother's relationship before my baby is born?

I can tell you the answer but you will not believe me. You are a pushover. Your mother is living her life through you. Im surprised you didnt say something like, "my mom tells me to have a certain way." I am in a boat like yours. I dont get along with my mom so the less I see of her the better off I am. My mom is an nurse and a clinical manager of a clinic so she has money, yet when I see her she brings up things back when I was living with her and I owe her alot of money for bills. Its never I love you or how are you doing or can I get you anything? But yet whenever she goes out on trips (which is quite often) she expects me and my boyfriend to go and water her plants at home, feed her dog and house sit....for free. I dont mind doing it but I wish she would respect me and treat me better. If you keep doing what your mom is telling you to do or at least dont stand up to her you might as well not become a mother and get a divorce. Your mom is going to give u a reallllllllllly hard time with your new baby TRUST ME!! having an epidural is great, it really helps with the pain I didnt want it either but after feeling those contractions you may change your mind. Live you life and take advice from your mom but you dont have to accept it. Oh by the way I had a lil girl last october 20. I love her to death and a binet is kind of a waste. get a nice crib and playpen but not a binet. good luck...
