I need to work in a hospital for my nursing school application, but have no experience!?

I am returning to school to get my Bachelor's in Nursing through MCG's Athens campus. I am finishing up my nursing core for now, waiting to apply for summer semester 2011. In order to have a killer nursing school application, they prefer work experience in the healthcare field. However, most hospital jobs require experience, too. I am most interested in being an ER tech, as it would give me a varied experience, but I'm willing to work at anything that gives me a working education. I can't afford to volunteer right now, as some have suggested, so what can I do to get a job without experience, although I'm working towards my Bachelors in Nursing?
