What GPA do you need for a solid Engineering Grad school?

You need a minimum of 3.0 to apply to graduate programs, but most schools (not even top ones) will expect a 3.5 or higher - to get into a top graduate engineering program, as close to a 4.0 as possible (and great test scores, letters, experience, etc).
